About Me

My name is Leif Rotsaert. For more than twenty years, I worked as a professional brewer—a role that is, at its core, facilities and infrastructure management. In addition to my technical background, I am a visual artist who actively shows work in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2017, I relocated to Cape Cod, bringing together two decades of complex systems management with an artist’s eye for detail and craftsmanship.

Why I Founded Keep a Good Home LLC

In the summer of 2026, my wife and I bought a home here on Cape Cod. During our home-buying search, we noticed a clear distinction between properties that had been well cared for and those that had been neglected. While some homes were newly renovated, others featured older fixtures and original appliances—yet still felt clean, warm, and inviting. The difference came down entirely to routine preventative maintenance and consistent upkeep by the homeowner.

That realization inspired the creation of Keep a Good Home LLC. We are dedicated to helping people who see the value in proactive care—handling minor repairs and catching the small things before they turn into major, expensive renovations.

Technical & Facilities Experience

You might ask how twenty years in brewing translates to facilities care and handyman services. In reality, a brewer’s role extends well beyond the product itself to the safety, reliability, and performance of the entire facility. Through formal training and hands-on application, I have designed, maintained, troubleshot, and improved complex systems that mirror those found in institutional and residential environments.

My technical foundation covers:

  • HVAC: Environmental control and system efficiency.

  • Electrical: Wiring, fixtures, troubleshooting, and safety.

  • Plumbing: Fluid management, pipe work, and fixture care.

  • Fire Suppression: System checks and safety compliance.

  • Landscaping & Grounds: Exterior maintenance and groundskeeping.

  • General Contracting: Structural upkeep, repairs, and project coordination.
